Indications and Usage
6-Thioguanine is FDA approved for remission induction and remission consolidation treatment of acute nonlymphocytic leukemias.
Side effects needing medical attention
Fever; chills; sore throat; unusual bruising or bleeding; sores on mouth or lips; yellowing of skin or eyes; inability to eat; loose stools; stomach pain; rash; nausea and vomiting.
