Dr. Raymond Mailhot, Associate Professor, directs the hematologic radiotherapy program at UF. His passion and research focus has been to optimize patient survivorship, with a particular emphasis on delivering equitable outcomes, particularly for survivors from historically marginalized backgrounds. He serves on the Children’s Oncology Group Hodgkin Lymphoma Steering Committee as well as the American Radium Society-American College of Radiology appropriateness criteria committee for lymphoma. He is PI of several active grants from foundational to state to federal – projects that seek to improve the survivorship of both pediatric and adult patients as well as ascertain the disparities in academic achievement that child survivors face. He is a leader in the American Society of Radiation Oncology as Vice Chair of the Workforce Diversity Committee and steering committee member of the Health, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council.
