I have over I have over 20 years of academic research experience spanning multiple fields (cancer, stem cell biology, epigenetics, infectious diseases), geographic locations and research environments. I completed my undergraduate and PhD studies at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, followed by postdoctoral training at Beth Israel Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. I established the Targeted Therapeutics laboratory at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2016 and am currently the co-lead of the Myeloma Medicines Theme within the Barrie Dalgleish Centre for Myeloma and Related Blood Cancers and Associate Professor in The Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology at the University of Melbourne. My laboratory is interested in understanding the molecular circuits that govern cell fate decisions and we aim to leverage that knowledge to develop new treatment strategies for acute myeloid leukemia and multiple myeloma.
