Dr. Lane is a physician in the Adult Leukemia Program and a laboratory investigator in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is co-Leader of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center Leukemia Program. He is an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. His laboratory research focuses on identification of novel targets in high-risk blood cancers and those without effective therapies. Dr. Lane is a Scholar of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He has received several honors including the Seldin-Smith Award for Pioneering Research from the American Society of Clinical Investigation. He was elected to the American Society of Clinical Investigation in 2021. Dr. Lane received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Vanderbilt University, and an MD and PhD from Washington University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and fellowships in hematology and medical oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
