This one hour program addressed the many unique needs and breakthrough advances designated to save and heal youngsters. Dr. Kevin J. Curran, Pediatric Director, Cellular Therapeutic Center of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center shared innovative treatment and progress, including information regarding CAR T-cell Therapy. Gwen Nichols, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society further discussed relevant initiatives and emerging therapies. Michelle Marks, mom to a pediatric transplant patient will share her best tips, experiences and coping skills. Jennifer Gillette, nbmtLINK licensed staff social worker facilitated this program. There was also a Q&A session.
